Visiting Melissa

We went to see Melissa and Donald in Wyoming on the way to Mimi's. We first drove through Yellowstone.

We arrived on Friday night and Donald cooked up some deer stake which was actually quite tasty!
Saturday, we went to Custers Battlefield in Montana.

I loved this hat! But in the picture I look like the Cat in the hat withe the blanket in the background! They had a nice museum there where they had displays. This is Chief Sitting Bull

We listened to a Ranger tell about the battle and then watched a movie about how the battle took place. This is Custer's last stand monument. This was the hill that he was killed on and all the remains of the soldiers are buried underneath.

We stopped at the trading post to do a little shopping. Melissa and I with some goofy hats!

Chief Windy No Butt-melissa's nickname for me!
We had a great time going around the battlefield and reading about what happened. It was HUGE!

Later that night we went to the only mexican resturaunt in town.

And even later that night, Melissa took me around the town. Even though we were exhausted it was nice to see some of the historical sites. This is Buffal Bills Inn.




We also saw Kendrick Mansion, the dollar store and Walmart! Ok those are not historic but I had to go to the dollar store!

We are now off to see Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse monument, the Laura Engall sites and then to Mimi's.
